Artist Spotlight - ATHRS

Spending most of his childhood in the beach suburbia that is Naples, Florida, ATHRS (pronounced AUTHORS) quickly realized a life of normalcy was not for him. Being drawn to outcast punk and pop-punk music like Rancid, Anti Flag, and A Day to Remember, music became an outlet for his rebellious and outgoing energy at a young age. High energy sounds combined with purposeful lyrics became the catalyst for a lifelong journey.

Through his early life, ATHRS toured regionally with various bands including dates on the Vans Warped Tour. As his life continued, he later became completely entranced in electronic music and festival culture. Within electronic music, there was simply levels of energy he had never experienced before. After many souls searching, A decided to create something that would engulf all his loves into one single entity. One that would not be bound by genre or the typical rules of the sounds but is free and is symbolic of freedom to be who you really are.

Since that day ATHRS has been on a wild ride searching to portray his vision. From briefly being managed by Kool from Kool and the Gang, being featured at national festivals such as Imagine Music Festival, Sunset Music Festival, Forbidden Kingdom and more, to crossover collaborations with legendary artists like Craig Owens of Chiodos and BadxChannels, ATHRS is firing through the creative atmosphere at full speed. He is quickly becoming recognized as a true artist of purpose, an originator of unique style, and one hell of a performer combining live guitars, vocals, and heavy-hitting bass for a one-of-a-kind experience.

ATHRS has amassed thousands of views between tracks from his “Pop Punk Is Dead” EP, Collaborations with artists like SWARM and earlier Releases, while quickly picking up steam being featured on outlets like Alternative Press, This Song Slaps, EDM.com EDM identity, New Noise, Good Music All Day, ATL By Night and more. ATHRS has become one of the most in-demand artists in the region.
